Nokia Asha 501 Unboxing and Initial impressions

I finally got Nokia Asha 501. This is device based on new “Asha” platform had always interested me since it’s launch in India in May. It was launched by then Nokia CEO Mr. Elop. It was considered as big boost to Nokia’s strategy of “Next billion”.
After selling my Nokia 808 Pureview, N86 and X2-02 , I didn’t have any working Nokia phone. My N9 has some issues with cellular modem and can not be used as phone. I had checked 501 in few stores earlier and also read reviews praising it.Hence when I got 501 when I felt price was right.I ordered bright red variant for Rs. 4749 from Flipkart and it arrived within 2 days.
Here are some photos of unboxing and initial setup.

I felt phone was built really well. Plastic used is of top quality , much better than some high end Samsung phones. Since outer shell wraps body from all sides phone feels very solid, no movement , no creaking sound.
Charger, micro USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack all are situated at top which is good thing. It charges via old Nokia small pin charger(included in box) as well as micro USB.
This is my initial impression after having 501 for just few hours. I will try to post about my experience with it after few days while using it in day to day life.
